• Train and bus

  You can take public transportation to the Biesbosch MuseumEiland. However, because of its unique location, you will still have to bike or walk several kilometers.

  Are you taking the train? Then get off at Dordrecht Central Station. Rent a bike here for the 10 kilometers to the Biesbosch MuseumEiland.

  Are you taking the bus? Go to bus stop Dordrecht Central Station. There, take Arriva bus 620 in the direction of Werkendam. Get off at stop 'Brabantse Oever, Werkendam'. From here, you can walk to the Biesbosch MuseumEiland in half an hour.
  Please note that this bus only runs a few times a day.

• By car

  The Biesbosch MuseumEiland is located deep in the Biesbosch. Take exit 23 on the A27 (Utrecht - Breda) and head towards Werkendam. Follow the signs 'Biesboschmuseum'.

• Boat

  Are you coming with your own boat? Then you can moor at our passenger jetty.

• Ferry from Dordrecht

  At the Kop van 't Land, take the ferry, crossing the Nieuwe Merwede. Follow the signs for Biesbosch Museum.

• Foot-bicycle ferry Lage Zwaluwe

  In the summer you can use the foot-cycle ferry from Lage Zwaluwe to the Jacominaplaat in Werkendam. From here it is another 9 kilometers to the museum.
